Can you tell us about your role and what your responsibilities entail?

President. Manage overall operations and budgetary responsibility.

Can you explain what your company does and how it fits within the supply chain?

SmartFoam Machinery manufactures equipment that automates processes for foam conversion and fabricators. We support over 1,000 foam converters and fabricators by providing automated machinery solutions that can help reduce their dependency on the need for high labour headcounts, fight rising material cost, eliminate internal production bottlenecks, and provide improved safety for all.
 

What innovative new trend or technology is particularly interesting for you currently?

Mini Pelletizer: Processes scrap PE foam from fabricators and extrusion companies. The resulting pellets can be re-used or sold.

Smart Cutting Table:  2 Head model process all shapes and sizes, from one-off custom products to high-volume production.  Perfect for cutting corrugated and foam. Replaces messy waterjet technology.

What are you most excited about for Foam Expo 2024

We are excited to be showcasing the Smart Skiver, the 2-head Smart Cutting Table, and the Mini Pelletizer. Three machines that offer immediate benefits for fabricators.
