Can you tell us about your role and what your responsibilities entail?
I'm Brad Mayo, the president here at Rubberlite, and my role is to set strategic goals, set the direction of the company, and provide the resources to our team members to accomplish those goals. Additionally, I enjoy working directly with many Rubberlite customers to assist them by understanding their specific needs and project objectives.
Can you explain what your company does and how it fits within the supply chain?
Rubberlite, Inc. is the recognized leader of converted cellular rubber and plastic products as well as a manufacturer of custom-engineered polyurethane foams and flexible composite systems. We use our technologies and development expertise to provide a portfolio of material solutions across three strategically aligned areas of our business: Industrial Rubber and Plastics, Engineered Foams, and Technical Composites.
We custom-engineer these solutions for our foam fabricator customer base as well as some OEMs. We've been in business for over 35 years and have a long and successful history of supplying our customers with quality products on time, with exacting specifications and tolerances to help them grow their business.
What innovative new trend or technology is particularly interesting for you currently
Being a mature business, what continues to drive me is automation and innovation. We work very hard to integrate technology into our processes. We leverage current technologies that are both proprietary to Rubberlite and those that are readily available to continuously improve. Add to that the motivation to discover innovative solutions to everyday and complex challenges and we are continually focused on the increase of quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
What are you most excited about for Foam Expo and Adhesives & Bonding Expo 2025?
Foam Expo 2025 continues to be an industry benchmark for Rubberlite and others. It is an excellent opportunity to showcase our innovations, and our material advancements and raise awareness of Rubberlite and our abilities. We look forward to engaging with our current and future customers as well as our supplier base. It’s a great opportunity to network with so many companies and individuals from around the globe. It’s also a strong resource to learn more about what’s happening in the industry.
Why should attendees visit your booth?
Attendees should visit our booth at Foam Expo because we highlight and showcase a new capability or a new product line every year. We demonstrate that commitment to innovation by displaying and discussing the results of our efforts. We interact with many industry leaders at Foam Expo and truly feel that we can all learn from each other.
We want to educate people on who Rubberlite is, what we're trying to do, what we're going to do, and how we can help them grow their business.
