Norseal® Silicones
Norseal® Silicones provide a range of temperature-resistant, chemically inert elastomers, ideal for demanding gasketing applications. Norseal® Silicones have a low compression set and excellent resistance to environmental conditions such as moisture, ozone, UV, and microbial growth. Norseal® Silicones enable extended service life in extreme conditions such as those found in aerospace, electronics, LED lighting, and electric vehicle applications. Tape Solutions is partnering with specialty recycling companies to recover scrap material from manufacturing. This material can be converted back into silicone raw materials suitable for (re)use.

The Mini Pelletizer is a sustainable solution for recycling PE foam scrap, occupying just 100 sq. ft. of floor space and consuming minimal power. It efficiently recycles scrap into reusable repro pellets, eliminating the need for densification and shipping, thereby reducing transportation emissions. The machine helps meet the recycling commitments of eco-conscious corporations in the foam industry while promoting sustainable practices, reducing waste, and offering cost savings and operational efficiencies through the use of recycled materials.

SunMate® Products
Dynamic Systems, Inc. (DSI) has included bio-based ingredients in its polyurethane foams for over 50 years. SunMate® foam contains up to 36% plant-based ingredients, and Pudgee® – SunMate’s gel-like cousin – contains up to 51% plant-derived material. The natural ingredients in these foams not only contribute to their soft texture and fresh scent, but also provide inherent flame-retardant properties, so they burn safer in a fire. Both SunMate® and Pudgee® pass CAL TB 117-DII without the use of fire-retardant additives. DSI also manufactures SunMate® FRG to pass the more stringent requirements of Crib 5 and FAR 25.853(a). SunMate® FRG contains a non-halogenated, non-brominated flame-retardant derived from the mineral graphite (EG) and does not detract from SunMate®’s unique support and pressure distribution properties.

Icap-Sira and Savaré present the new PSA ECO series, the first bio-based product portfolio combining sustainability benefits with high performance. The Icap-Sira Acrilem ECO series contains 50 to 70% of bio-renewable mass on solid allowing customers to meet their sustainability goals while delivering high-end properties, with no loss of performance compared to fossil-based countertypes. In addition, the Savaré Safemelt portfolio includes synthetic rubber PSAs with up to 55% bio-based content, as well as polyolefin grades that allow full recyclability of PP laminates.

NOMAGREEN also provides a more environmentally friendly option for Fabricators when dealing with scrap foam that does not get recycled. With NOMAGREEN, Fabricators can now differentiate themselves when working with large OEM companies looking for suppliers whose processes and products are more environmentally responsible. Foam made from this formulation can also be reused and recycled in the standard LDPE stream.
